The Iridium 9555 provides voice, SMS and voicemail services on the reliable Iridium network with global coverage. Simply ensure you have a clear view of the sky and the satellites above, deploy the retractable antenna, dial the number, and press call. You can also send and receive SMS, access voicemail, store numbers in the phonebook and customise your phone settings, just like you would with a standard mobile phone. The Iridium 9555 satellite phone is designed with a 200-character illuminated graphic display, providing clear visibility of call information and settings. It features meters for volume, signal, and battery strength, and an illuminated, weather-resistant keypad suitable for various conditions. For calling capabilities, it includes an integrated speakerphone and quick-connect functionality to Iridium voicemail. The phone supports two-way SMS and short email communications, and features a mailbox for storing voice, numeric, and text messages. Users can choose from eight selectable ring and alert tones. Additionally, the phone offers usage control features, such as user-configurable call timers to help manage costs, as well as a keypad lock and PIN lock for enhanced security.
